The Black Forest Area is a well-known very scenic area of tall ponderosa pines and rolling hills, north of the Powers area, and about 25 minutes commuting time to Peterson.

The Briargate area is directly east of the US Air Force Academy and is known for outstanding new home communities, new high-end development, and Academy District 20 Schools.

The Tri-Lakes area is north of Colorado Springs and the place to find fine homes on wooded lots of ½ to 5 acres. It's convenient for commuting to Colorado Springs and to south Denver.
