The Broadmoor area, located along Lake Avenue, is the most expensive residential community in Colorado Springs. In the vicinity of the Broadmoor Hotel are most of the million dollar homes in Colorado Springs. There are also fine older homes and beautiful settings along the roads leading into Cheyenne Canyon. Broadmoor Bluffs is a newer community of homes located southwest of Cheyenne Mountain Resort along Star Ranch Road and Broadmoor Bluffs Drive. Homes in Broadmoor Bluffs range in price from $360,000 to $825,000, with most homes priced in the high $400,000s. Also located in the Broadmoor Bluffs area is "Las Casas," a development of new condominiums located on the northwest corner of Highways 115 and 83 (Academy). These condos are priced from $170,000 to $203,000; they have 2 or 3 bedrooms, and vary in size from 1000 to 1300 total square feet.
Other recently built homes on hillside lots, with fine city views, are to be found in the Broadmoor Hills, and Skyway areas. The Cheyenne Mountain Resort and The Country Club of Colorado are in the Southwest. The District 12 schools are top-rated.
The Southwest Colorado Springs area also includes real estate and moderately-priced homes east of Highway 115 and immediately north of Fort Carson. District 2 schools.
